Hello Games has officially announced that No Man’s Sky will launch on iPhone and iPad on October 28, 2026, bringing its popular space exploration game to Apple’s mobile devices. Pre-orders are already available on the App Store, and players can try the opening section for free before purchasing the full game for $19.99.
The mobile version includes more than 40 major updates released over the past decade, including the recent Cosmos expansion and Voyagers update. Players can explore procedurally generated planets, build bases, collect resources, and customize starships.
The release follows the game’s arrival on Mac in 2023, which Apple originally announced alongside Metal 3.

Mobile Features and Gameplay Limitations
The developer has rebuilt the touch controls to support exploration, spacecraft navigation, vehicles, and inventory management.
Other notable features include:
- Support for physical game controllers and TV casting.
- Mouse and keyboard support on compatible iPads.
- Optimizations for battery consumption and device temperature.
