Fitness+ is Apple’s US$9.99/month service that brings personalized workout videos, trainers, and exercise recommendations. Video workouts added each week in ten popular workout types: High Intensity Interval Training, Indoor Cycling, Yoga, Core, Strength, Dance, Rowing, Treadmill Walking, Treadmill Running, and Mindful Cooldown. Playlists curated by Fitness+ trainers will be added to complement your workout. The Fitness+ subscription is available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States

Support for AirPods Max owners mean people can pair their headphones as quickly as other members of the AirPods product line. These over-the-ear headphones bring high fidelity audio, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, adaptive EQ, and spatial audio.

Apple’s ProRAW photo format lets owners of the iPhone 12 Pro | Pro Max shoot in a special RAW format that adds Apple’s computational photography it performs with its machine learning. This is great for recovering highlights and shadows in images. A new option to record video at 25 FPS is also a feature of iOS 14.3.

Developers are now required to add Privacy Information labels to their app pages in the App Store. It lets people know what kind of data will be collected and if it will be used for advertising purposes.

Other minor features include:

  • App Clips
  • An all-new Apple TV+ tab

  • Ability to indicate pregnancy, lactation, or contraceptive use in Cycle Tracking in the Health app

  • Air quality data is now available in Weather, Maps, and Siri for locations in China mainland

  • Ecosia search engine option in Safari
