Pre-orders open on October 28, 2026, at apple.com/ca/store and in the Apple Store app. Availability starts Friday, November 6, 2026, at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Resellers. Apple Creator Studio costs A$19.99 or $17.99 a month for new subscribers
Apple is bundling its Creator Studio subscription offer with the launch. New subscribers in Australia pay A$19.99 a month or A$199 a year. In Canada it’s $17.99 a month or $179 a year. Every new subscriber gets a one-month free trial, and if you buy a new Mac or a qualifying iPad you get three months free. That offer is limited to one per Apple Account or family group and renews automatically until you cancel.
Education pricing is A$4.99 a month or A$49 a year in Australia, for university students and educators who pass verification. In Canada the education plan is $3.99 a month. Apple’s Canadian release gives two different yearly figures, $39 in the pricing section and $39.99 in the footnote, so check the store before you sign up.
Siri AI on the new MacBook Pro is a beta with language and age limits in both countries
Both releases carry the same footnote. Siri AI is a beta in macOS 27.2 and works in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish, so French-speaking Canadians are covered. It isn’t available to users under 13, and some server-side features have daily usage limits, with Apple planning a fee for expanded access later.
Buy now if you need it for work, and use education pricing if you qualify
If you’re a student or educator, the education discount is real money: A$240 off the 14-inch M5 Pro in Australia and $210 off in Canada. If you want the touchscreen and PROLED display for work right now, both countries get it on launch day with no delay.
