An iOS 27.2 Beta 3 Tester Says Siri Still Cannot Find Mail

One tester says Siri still cannot reliably find email in iOS 27.2 beta 3. A request to locate an email can return no result even when the same message appears inside the Mail app.

A tester described the continuing problem in the beta 3 discussion thread. The user clarified that the failure occurs when asking Siri, not when manually searching inside the Mail app.

The distinction narrows the observation to Siri rather than Mail’s own search interface. The report does not establish whether the failure involves indexing, permissions, account type or another component.

There is no confirmed fix yet

Apple has not listed the problem as resolved in beta 3. The community report also does not provide a repeatable workaround, so users should not reset an account or device on the strength of this anecdote.

Affected testers can reproduce the same request and submit the wording, device, language and account provider through Feedback Assistant. Those details would help distinguish one failed query from a broader Siri Mail problem.

Because the evidence comes from user reports, the issue may not affect every account provider or language. It remains an unresolved beta complaint rather than a confirmed systemwide defect.

The report does not identify a cause, a reliable workaround or the affected mail provider. Additional reports would be needed to establish the scope across devices, accounts and languages. Apple identifies beta 3 as build 24B5099f, but its public release entry does not mention a Siri Mail fix or known issue. Publicly.
