Apple has updated TestFlight to version 4.4.0, adding landscape orientation on iPhone and support for resizing the app while using iPhone Mirroring on a Mac. The release also includes stability improvements and unspecified bug fixes.
The official App Store version history says iPhone Mirroring resizing requires devices running operating-system version 27 or later. Apple also notes that the mirroring feature is available only in supported countries and regions.
What changes for testers
Landscape support lets TestFlight rotate across all compatible iPhones rather than limiting the change to one model. That should help developers and testers review app descriptions, build notes and feedback tools while the phone is mounted or being used horizontally.

The resizing change is aimed at Mac users who open their iPhone through iPhone Mirroring. With compatible version 27 software on both devices, the mirrored TestFlight window can adapt rather than remaining at one fixed presentation size. Apple does not list additional controls or a separate setting for the feature.
Version 4.4 follows last year’s Liquid Glass redesign for TestFlight, which also brought accessibility improvements. This update is narrower and focuses on how the app behaves in the newer system environments.
TestFlight remains Apple’s distribution tool for prerelease app builds across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch. The landscape note applies specifically to iPhone, while Apple’s release notes do not identify new tester-facing features on the other platforms.
Users can install the update through the App Store. Anyone using an older release can open the TestFlight listing and select Update. Developers do not need to publish a new beta build solely for testers to receive the app’s interface changes.
The requirement also gives users another practical reason to move to the current software after checking iOS 27 compatibility and release details.
