The Traitors: New Blood premieres on NBC on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET with a two-hour episode. Each episode streams on Peacock the day after it airs, so the premiere reaches Peacock on September 18.
NBC set the date in its fall 2026 premiere schedule. New Blood is a civilian-led version of the Emmy Award-winning Peacock series, with Alan Cumming back as host.

- October 8: The series moves to its regular hourlong Thursday timeslot
According to NBC Insider, new episodes air Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC and stream the next day on Peacock. NBC has not listed an episode count or finale date.
What makes New Blood different
Earlier American seasons of The Traitors featured celebrity contestants. New Blood swaps them for 22 everyday Americans, selected from more than 60,000 applicants. NBC says that makes the game less predictable, since the players know little about each other going in and cannot lean on public personas or past reputations.
The series was filmed at Andross Castle in the Ross-shire region of Scotland.
How the game works
Players are either Faithful or secretly Traitors. Together they complete missions to build a shared prize fund worth up to $250,000. The Traitors try to eliminate Faithful players without being caught, while the Faithful try to identify and banish the Traitors.
If any Traitors are still in the game at the end, they take the entire prize. If every Traitor has been eliminated, the remaining Faithful split the money equally.
How to watch The Traitors: New Blood
Watch live on NBC through an antenna, cable or satellite, or a live TV streaming service that carries NBC. To stream on demand, episodes land on Peacock the day after they air, and you can watch in the Peacock app on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android devices, smart TVs and streaming players, or on the web. A Peacock subscription is required.
What NBC has not announced
NBC has not published an episode count, a finale date or the names of the 22 contestants in its schedule announcement. Once the season settles into its hourlong Thursday slot on October 8, expect one new episode a week on NBC, followed by Peacock the next day.
