TOMS announced Thursday a line of straps for Apple Watch. The straps are part of the Made for Apple Watch program from Apple, and continue TOMS’s philanthropic practice of including a charitable donation with each purchase.

TOMS Donation
TOMS is better known for its shoe business, and part of that business includes a one-for-one donation of a pair of shoes to a person in need with every pair purchased. There probably aren’t so many people in need of an Apple Watch strap, per se, so TOMS is donating “one year of solar light to a person in need” with the purchase of every strap.
The company is working with charity SolarAid for this program.
TOMS Apple Watch Straps
TOMS has announced seven different strap designs, but only two of them are available now, Black and Olive (shown below). Each is made with steel lugs with the Made for Apple Watch laser etching. The straps use grosgain fabric with leather detailing.
Most of the straps are priced at $49. The three straps on the right side of the lineup above are part of TOMS’s “Artisan” line, and are priced at $75.
