Apple has released visionOS 27.2 developer beta 1 for registered developers. The first seed is build 24N5088l. Apple’s release notes flag one issue involving 3D objects opened in Safari, plus StoreKit Testing updates for developers.
Beta software can contain errors or behave differently from a shipping release. Before installing it, make sure the Vision Pro is eligible for the beta channel and that you are signed in with the Apple Account used for developer betas.
How to update to visionOS 27.2 beta 1
- Open Settings on Apple Vision Pro.
- Select General, then choose Software Update.
- Open Beta Updates and choose visionOS 27 Developer Beta if it is not already selected.
- Return to the Software Update screen, choose visionOS 27.2 beta, then follow the download and installation prompts.
All changes in visionOS 27.2 beta 1
- Quick Look known issue: a 3D object opened from Safari can unexpectedly move to a different location after you reposition it.
- StoreKit Testing fixes: Apple lists Xcode testing fixes for introductory-offer eligibility, storefront and locale changes, and dialogs that can appear during failed purchases.
- StoreKit Testing known issue: buying a subscription-bundle member may let a developer unbundle it rather than returning the expected error in the test environment.
- No other Vision Pro feature is documented: Apple’s beta 1 notes do not currently list an additional consumer-facing visionOS change.
