iPhone Duo pre-orders open on Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT through apple.com and the Apple Store app, with delivery and in-store availability from Friday, October 23. The phone starts at $1,999 for 256GB, and Apple’s press release offers two monthly paths: $83.29 a month for 24 months, or an Apple Upgrade lease from $57.99 a month on a 24-month term.
The steps below follow Apple’s published pre-order information and its Store pages, which currently sit in a get-ready-for-pre-order state; the exact screens on October 16 may differ slightly. Read our iPhone Duo official guide first if you have not settled on the phone itself.

Before October 16: settle the four choices
Apple’s configurator asks for a color, a storage tier, a payment method and a trade-in decision. Decide all four ahead of time.

- Color: Night Sky or Star White. Apple offers no other finish.
- Storage: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB. The steps cost $200, $400 and $600 respectively, and every tier has the same displays, cameras and A20 Pro chip.
- Carrier: iPhone Duo is eSIM-only worldwide with dual eSIM, so there is no SIM tray. Apple says more than 500 carriers are supported.
- Accessories: the iPhone Duo Case is $79 in sand or navy blue; the iPhone Duo Folio with integrated kickstand is $129 in navy blue or taupe.

Lease, installments or pay in full
Apple’s press release names three ways to pay for the 256GB model in the US. Only the monthly figures are Apple’s; the 24-month totals are our multiplication.

The lease is the lowest monthly figure, but it is a lease rather than a purchase, and Apple has not published its end-of-term conditions. For comparison, the iPhone 18 Pro’s Apple Upgrade lease is $34.99 a month and its installment price is $49.95 a month over 24 months.
Trade-in is a separate line. Apple puts Apple Trade In credit at $175 to $885 for an iPhone 13 or later, and its Store page notes carrier offers of up to $1,200 through AT&T and T-Mobile for an iPhone 14 or later; per-model values are not published.
Step by step on October 16
- 1. Update the Apple Store app on the iPhone or iPad you will order from, and sign in with your Apple Account before 5 a.m. PT.
- 2. Check your saved shipping address and payment card in the app so nothing needs typing at checkout.
- 3. At 5:00 a.m. PT, open the app or apple.com and choose iPhone Duo.
- 4. Pick Night Sky or Star White, then 256GB, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB.
- 5. Choose pay in full, installments, or the Apple Upgrade lease if it is offered to you.
- 6. Add a trade-in if you want the credit, or skip it.
- 7. Add the $79 Case or $129 Folio if you want one, then check out.
- 8. Keep the confirmation; delivery estimates start at October 23.

The UK page lists 30-month, 0 percent APR financing from £66.63 a month, and India’s page lists EMI from ₹48,817 a month. Elsewhere Apple names a partner such as Affirm, Afterpay, Cetelem or Paidy without a per-model figure.
If it does not work: should the Store page still read get ready for pre-order after 5 a.m. PT, close and reopen the app and try apple.com in a browser as a second route. If a configuration shows a delivery date later than October 23, a different color or capacity may still show launch-day delivery, and Apple Store locations, select carriers and partner stores also take orders from October 16.

Pre-orders open Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT and iPhone Duo arrives Friday, October 23 from $1,999, $83.29 a month or a $57.99 lease. The phone ships with iOS 27.1 and a 1 m USB-C cable; Apple’s 60W adapter for its fastest charging claim is sold separately.
