The Macworld Expo rumor season is in full swing, and the latest tidbit to crop up on the Web shows a freshly redesigned Mac mini. An image that appeared at Macenstein shows a revamped version of Apple's tiny desktop Mac, presumably to be unveiled during Phil Schiller's keynote presentation at Macworld Expo on January 6.

Macenstein's anonymous Mac mini pic.
The image looks to be a photograph of a computer display showing an ad for a version of the Mac mini that more closely matches the recently updated MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, complete with beveled edges.
Since Apple doesn't comment on rumors or unannounced products, don't expect to hear anything out of Cupertino on this before Mr. Schiller's keynote.
Macworld Expo runs from January 5 through January 9, 2009, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. For additional information about the Expo and events, visit the Macworld Expo Web site.

Why does it look like it has a lid?
This is a photochop of the side view of a Macbook. There is an image very similar to it on the Apple website in the Macbook gallery.
