Ever noticed people typing the Apple logo instead of the word Apple? They might do it when discussing their Watch or TV, for instance. There’s an easy keyboard command to do it.
Key Command to Type the Apple Logo
To type the Apple logo, type Shift > Option> K at the same time! There are lots of special key combinations, but this is a definite favorite.

It does not work here. It depends on the keyboard. These work here:
= Option g
• = Shift Option 3
BTW, it is “g” above (not “G”) because G would mean Shift g.
I’m using an Apple Magic Keyboard and shift>option>k works for me.
So yes, it does likely depend on the keyboard.
