Apple TV Hit Pluribus Gets A Major Season Two Release Update

Pluribus Becomes Apple TV’s Only Top 10 Original After Finale Week

Fans of the hit sci-fi show Pluribus finally have a real clue about when new episodes might arrive. The popular series from Apple TV+ has been off the air for a few months, and viewers keep asking for news. Until recently, the creative team just told everyone to wait. Now, one of the main actors has shared a solid timeline for when production officially starts up again.

Filming for the next chapter begins this coming fall

Karolina Wydra plays Zosia in the series. She recently sat down for an interview and revealed that filming for season two will begin sometime this fall. She did not give an exact start date. However, pointing to late 2026 is a big step up from the vague answers fans received before. The show creator, Vince Gilligan, previously admitted the writers were taking their time to get the story right.

Because cameras will start rolling later this year, viewers can start making realistic guesses about the premiere. If production takes around six months, the new season might launch in late 2027. That would mean a two-year gap between seasons.

Apple typically likes to space out its big releases. The streaming platform will likely schedule Pluribus carefully to avoid overlapping with its other major sci-fi projects.
