Siri AI Settlement Payouts Will Not Reach Users Until Next Year

If you are waiting for a payout from the recent Siri AI class action lawsuit, you will need to keep waiting. Apple recently agreed to a $250 million settlement over the delayed launch of its new voice features, promising up to $95 per device for eligible buyers. While the deal got a preliminary thumbs up from a judge last month, final approval and actual payouts are now pushed well into next year.

Final court approval is scheduled for early next year

The judge handling the case recently set the final approval hearing for February 24, 2027. This means the court still needs to sign off on the settlement agreement before any money can move.

Because of this timeline, payments to customers will not start until several months after that February court date. Users hoping for a quick check will need to hold on for a bit longer while the legal system finishes the process.

Customers do not need to take any action right now

At this moment, there is nothing you need to do to claim your money. The official website for the lawsuit is not live yet, so there are no claim forms to fill out or submit.

Once the website launches, eligible iPhone owners will be able to submit their details to get a piece of the fund. Until then, you can just sit tight and keep an eye out for updates on the AI payouts as the court dates get closer.

While a delayed timeline is not ideal, the fund is locked in and moving forward. The legal system moves slowly, but eligible users are still on track to receive compensation once the final dates pass in 2027.
