Roy and Keeley are not back together at the end of Ted Lasso Season 4, Episode 7. Erin breaks up with Roy after realizing he remains in love with Keeley, but the episode stops before Roy turns that realization into a new relationship.
That distinction matters. Erin does not simply get moved out of the way by the plot. She forces Roy to admit what his behavior already shows, while also reminding him that he is worthy of being with the person he loves. The next move belongs to Roy, Keeley and no one else. A breakup creates an opening, but it cannot make the emotional choice on their behalf.

Roy responds with unusual emotional precision. He explains that Erin disrupted his plan to date without becoming attached, then compares her to a football captain who protects everyone around her. The scene shows growth because Roy can value Erin without using that gratitude to keep an unsuitable relationship alive.
A reunion still requires Keeley’s decision
Roy being available is not the same as Roy being ready. His earlier relationship with Keeley ended partly because he withdrew and decided for both of them that she would be better without him. Episode 7 addresses his sense of unworthiness, but it does not erase the effect of that choice on Keeley.
Keeley has her own work, friendships and view of the future. Any convincing reunion must give her more than a confession. Roy needs to show that he can remain present when intimacy feels difficult, and Keeley needs space to decide whether rebuilding trust is what she wants.
Episode 8 creates the right test
The next episode places Roy and Keeley together to prepare the Wall of Legends. Working on Richmond’s history can make Roy confront both the celebrated player he used to be and the guarded person he became. Keeley is one of the few people who understands both versions.
A reunion is now plausible, but it remains unconfirmed. The stronger outcome would be an honest conversation that treats both characters as adults, whether it ends in romance or a clearer friendship.
