Slow Horses Season 6 Episode 3 is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2026, on Apple TV. Titled “Resurrection,” the episode follows the shock return of Sid Baker, whose survival turns River’s personal relief into an intelligence problem.
River cannot treat Sid’s appearance as a simple reunion. She has been absent for years, the truth about her survival was concealed, and killers are targeting people connected to Slough House. Her timing could make her a source, a target or part of the trap.

Sid’s survival creates a new investigation
Sid was shot during the first season and later vanished from the official story. Her return means somebody had the ability to keep her alive and outside the usual records. Episode 3 must begin separating what Sid chose from what was done to her.
The title “Resurrection” points directly at that problem without explaining it. River needs names, dates and a reason for the silence. Any missing piece could connect Sid to the stolen list that Jim and Jane are using to hunt current and former Slow Horses.
River has to investigate somebody he wants to trust
Sid’s return hits River differently from another operational surprise. He knew her, cared about her and lived with the belief that the shooting had destroyed her life. That history makes him vulnerable to accepting the answer he wants before he tests the one she gives.
Jackson Lamb is unlikely to allow sentiment to settle the question. His team is already exposed, and a person returning from the dead is exactly the kind of anomaly he will examine from every angle. River may therefore find himself defending Sid while privately sharing Lamb’s doubts.
The assassin plot is closing around Slough House
Jim and Jane’s attacks show that the list is being used methodically. Their victims are not random, and disguising the pattern matters to whoever ordered the operation. Sid’s knowledge could explain how far the list reaches or why the killings began now.
The danger also gives Sid a way to prove herself through action. Information that predicts Jim and Jane’s next move would support her claim to be an ally, while knowledge she cannot reasonably possess would deepen the suspicion around whoever kept her hidden.
Episode 3 does not need to answer every year of Sid’s absence, but it must establish whether River can safely bring her closer to the team.
