Apple Arcade Adds Four New Games on February 5, Led by Civilization VII

Apple Arcade will add four new games on Thursday, February 5. The lineup includes a major strategy title and three smaller but varied releases. Together, they expand the service across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro.

Civilization VII Comes to Apple Arcade

The biggest addition is Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Arcade Edition. The award-winning strategy series arrives on Apple Arcade with full support for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You build an empire, guide it through different ages of history, and shape its culture through long-term choices. The Arcade Edition brings the full experience to mobile and desktop without ads or in-app purchases.

From Apple’s press release:
“Build the greatest empire the world has ever known. On February 5, the award-winning strategy franchise by legendary game designer Sid Meier comes to Apple Arcade with the launch of Sid Meier’s Civilization VII Arcade Edition.”

Three More Games Join the Lineup

Alongside Civilization VII, Apple Arcade will release three more titles.

Retrocade offers classic arcade games such as Asteroids, PAC-MAN, Breakout, Galaga, and Space Invaders in a 3D environment. It supports leaderboards and daily challenges and will be available on Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad.

Felicity’s Door focuses on music and rhythm. It centers on timing and pattern-based gameplay built around sound and motion.

I Love Hue Too+ is a color-matching puzzle game where you arrange tiles by subtle shifts in shade.

These four games show Apple Arcade’s range. You get a major AAA strategy title, a retro arcade collection, a rhythm game, and a relaxing puzzle experience. Apple Arcade remains a single subscription with no ads or in-app purchases, available across Apple devices through the App Store and the Apple Games app.
