Apple TV and Apple Books marked the return of The Last Thing He Told Me with a live event in Los Angeles as season two prepares to launch globally. The new season premieres Friday, February 20, with fresh episodes arriving every Friday through April 10. The series builds on the suspense and family drama that defined its first run, this time raising the stakes for Hannah and Bailey.
The event took place on February 12 at The West Hollywood EDITION. Executive producer Reese Witherspoon joined star and executive producer Jennifer Garner, along with cast members Angourie Rice, Judy Greer, and Rita Wilson. Author and co-creator Laura Dave also attended. They recorded a live episode of the “Bookmarked” podcast from Reese’s Book Club, moderated by journalist Danielle Robay.
According to Apple Newsroom, the second season adapts Dave’s instant New York Times bestselling sequel novel, The First Time I Saw Him. In this chapter, Owen returns after five years on the run. Hannah and her stepdaughter Bailey must confront the past and race to protect their family before old secrets resurface.
