Fifteen years after the death of co-founder Steve Jobs, the people running the famous tech brand are reflecting on his lasting impact. Both current chief executive officer John Ternus and former leader Tim Cook shared messages on X to mark the anniversary of his passing. The two leaders highlighted the heavy influence the late founder had on them personally and how his ideas still shape the business as it operates today.

Ternus, who worked at Apple for ten years before the founder died, focused on the internal culture. He shared how the late visionary taught the team to care deeply about every detail, experience, and person. Ternus pointed out that this careful mindset still drives the daily work of the organization, adding that he is forever grateful for those lessons.

Cook, who now serves as executive chairman, looked at the bigger picture of his friend’s legacy. He noted that while some people just leave a mark on the world, the famous founder changed it completely. Cook mentioned that his friend changed his own life and that his spirit is still alive in the products he created and the people he inspired.
