Apple Rolls Out visionOS 26.3 Beta 2 for Vision Pro

visionOS 26.3 beta 1 released for Apple Vision Pro developers

Apple released visionOS 26.3 beta 1 in mid-December, and now beta 2 is ready for developers. The new test build is 23N5602d, replacing beta 1 23N5588c. Apple posted the beta 2 release on January 12, 2026.

If you test on Apple Vision Pro, this update looks like a typical mid-cycle beta. Expect bug fixes, stability work, and a few small behavior changes as Apple moves toward a public release later in the cycle.

Changes in visionOS 26.3 beta 2

Early notes point to small refinements rather than big new features. Here are two user-facing Safari-related tweaks that affect visionOS behavior:

  • Fullscreen video now dims your surroundings to help you focus on playback.
