Apple Ships iPadOS 26.3 Beta 2 to Developers

Apple released iPadOS 26.3 developer beta 1 in mid December. Now iPadOS 26.3 developer beta 2 is available for testing, with build number 23D5103d.

Beta 2 replaces the earlier beta 1 build 23D5089e as Apple resumes its usual update cadence after the holiday break.

If you already run beta 1, this update should arrive over the air in Software Update. You can also grab it from the developer downloads page if it does not show up right away.

How to Update iPadOS 26.3 Developer Beta 2

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap General.
  3. Tap Software Update.
  4. Tap Beta Updates and select iPadOS 26 Developer Beta (if needed).
  5. Go back, then tap Download and Install.

Changes in iPadOS 26.3 Beta 2

Apple has not published a long public changelog for beta 2, and early reports suggest iPadOS 26.3 remains a relatively small update focused on fixes and polish.

Here are the main features that arrived with iPadOS 26.3 testing and are still the headline items in this cycle:

  • Transfer to Android: A built-in option that helps move data to an Android phone without relying on a separate app.
  • Notification Forwarding (EU): A setting aimed at supporting notification forwarding to third-party wearables in the European Union.
  • Weather wallpaper tweaks: Minor adjustments tied to the Weather wallpaper experience.

If you spot any new additions in beta 2 beyond bug fixes, share what you found in the comments.
