Apple just snagged six nominations for its streaming service at the upcoming Critics Choice Real TV Awards. This event honors the very best in unscripted, nonfiction, and reality television. This year, the company is showing up strong across several different categories, from talent competitions to nature documentaries. The recent list of nominees covers a fun mix of shows you can watch on Apple TV. In the talent and variety space, the music series “KPOPPED” picked up a nod in the Competition Series: Talent/Variety group.
Travel and adventure shows turned out to be a big hit for the company. It grabbed three separate nominations just in the Travel/Adventure Show category. The recognized programs here include “The Reluctant Traveler,” “Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age,” and “The Wild Ones.”
Nature and documentary shows also got noticed by the voters. “Born to be Wild” earned a spot in the Animal/Nature Show category. Finally, “Mr. Scorsese” finished out the list with a nomination for Limited Series.
