The island lacks reliable cell service, has no Wi Fi, and runs on superstition. Loftis pushes forward anyway, hoping to secure a better future for his teenage son.
Apple adds, “Miraculously, he succeeds. Tourists are finally coming. Unfortunately, the locals were right.”

Matthew Rhys also serves as an executive producer. Katie Dippold created and runs the series. Hiro Murai directs five episodes and executive produces through Chum Films.
