Apple will open its sixth retail outlet in India, the new Apple Store Borivali, on February 26, 2026, at 1 p.m (local time). The store becomes the company’s second location in Mumbai and marks another step in its steady physical retail expansion across the country.
The store sits in Borivali and targets a growing base of local users, students, creators, and small businesses who want hands-on support instead of online assistance. Apple positions the space as both a shopping destination and a learning hub where customers interact directly with products and staff.
In a statement, Apple Inc. confirmed the opening and outlined the store’s purpose and services.
“Apple Borivali will serve a growing community of startups and businesses — offering a welcoming space where customers can explore Apple products, unlock creativity, and get expert support from Apple’s store team members.”
Location and opening date
The new store is located inside Sky City Mall.

Design and in-store experience
The outlet uses the peacock-inspired visual identity introduced in recent India stores. The company describes it as a symbol of confidence, detail, and arrival.
Customers can try products, compare features, and get support from Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and business teams. The store also hosts daily learning sessions.
“Customers can explore and purchase Apple’s latest product lineup, experience new features, and receive expert support from Specialists, Creatives, Geniuses, and dedicated Business teams.”
The company will run Today at Apple sessions inside the store. These free workshops teach photography, video editing, music creation, and device tips.
“Together with the Apple Store online, Apple Store app and services such as Apple Pickup, Apple Trade In, Personal Setup, and help with switching to iOS, Apple Borivali deepens Apple’s commitment to customers in India.”
Before opening day, visitors can download exclusive wallpapers and a Mumbai-inspired playlist from the official retail page.
With this launch, Apple continues expanding beyond major central districts and moves deeper into suburban consumer markets where demand for physical support keeps rising.
