Aqara Releases the W200 Thermostat Hub with Apple Adaptive Support

Aqara Thermostat Hub W200

Aqara just dropped its first smart thermostat for the North American market, and it brings some serious upgrades for Apple users. The new Thermostat Hub W200 works directly with Apple Adaptive Temperature and Clean Energy Guidance features in iOS 26. This setup balances comfort with energy savings by learning when people are home, asleep, or away. It takes over the daily climate adjustments for you.

A screen that does more than temperatures

The W200 is not an ordinary wall dial. It features a crisp 4-inch touchscreen that doubles as a command center for your house. Aqara packed it with a millimeter wave radar sensor, meaning the screen wakes up automatically as you walk by. It adjusts the room based on actual human presence instead of a rigid schedule.

Because it connects directly with other Aqara devices, you can view your video doorbell feed right on the thermostat display. If someone rings the bell, you can check who is there and unlock your smart door lock without grabbing your phone. It brings your security and climate controls into one convenient spot.

It connects your entire smart home

Aqara designed this device to act as the brain of your home network. It works as a built-in hub for Thread, Zigbee, and Matter. It can manage over 50 different device types from various brands, removing the need for a separate hub box sitting next to your router.

For Apple users, the deep integration with iPhone, Apple Watch, HomePod, and Apple TV makes everything easy to manage. The system looks at local weather conditions to keep the indoor climate exactly where you want it. It is also compatible with Google Home and Alexa.

Installation is straightforward for most North American homes. The unit supports standard HVAC systems like furnaces, heat pumps, and boilers. You can buy the W200 right now for $159.99 through Amazon, Best Buy, or the Aqara website. A matte kit hits the Apple Store later this September.
