Should you update?

Once I’ve updated the Phone, none of my cameras work. Apple fix ASAP!!!!!!!!! This is the last time this will happen to me.

Updated my iPhone 14 Pro Max to 26.3.1 over the weekend. Opened the Calendar app on Monday and my ENTIRE calendar is BLANK. All iCloud calendar versions (home, work, etc) are wiped clean on every device that I own, including older devices that were no longer in use, but I charged up enough on a prayer that my calendar might still show up there. I had calendar events and information back to 2016 stored there that transferred over without issue every time I upgraded my phone or on every update thus far. I had room in my iCloud and on my device, so lack of storage was not an issue. Also had settings in place to backup calendar to iCloud, which failed unexplainably. 3 Hours with Apple Support between online chat and a phone call with a Senior Advisor (or whatever the respected title is) with no resolve. Devastated.
I have the new iPhone 17. It automatically updated to 26.3.1 last night. Today it no longer stores photos taken by camera. Screen shots are saved but no photos from camera. I warned my husband not to update his phone until there is a fix!
Bluetooth = FUBAR on iPhone 14. No headset, no Carplay. This s#cks
iPhone 14 doesn’t work any more spent 1 hour with two tech all they say is take it in. it’s their fault. I was locked out, the key sensitive do not work, can’t swipe; kept coming with request for Siri passcode, I don’t use Siri.

With with new update, My less than 1.5 year old apple Watch is pretty much obsolete now. My phone won’t keep my podcasts saved, won’t show show the weather and asks me the same settings questions repeatedly, and even when it saves my settings it isn’t following my settings anymore.
I woke up one morning to find all of the tabs I had open in Safari (admittedly too many – hundreds – but that in itself has posed no problem over the years) gone, replaced by tabs I had open 6 years ago. Somehow one of the settings in my password manager had been changed overnight.
I have many problems.
Losing apps on my Home Screen.
Deletion of my WhatsApp messages.
Inability to follow posters on FB.
Deletion of some of my auto login information for various apps.
I never have auto updates but my phone updated regardless and now I have a glitchy screen and green screen of death intermittently. Absolutely ticked off at Apple!
After the IOS26.3.1 update, my iPhone 16 ProMax will not connect to CarPlay in either of my two cars.

Carplay stopped working. Of course it stopped when I have a new job that sometimes requires meetings 1-2 hours away from home.

Wireless CarPlay and even AirPods Pro fail to connect automatically, requiring going to Bluetooth settings and manually tapping the device to connect. Have tried unpairing and repairing to no avail. Also on phone calls people tell me my voice is very muffled using my AirPods.
12 ProMax – Terrible internet connection ability, pauses in response to any keystroke, Long pauses after changing APs, Not receiving many texts, Calls go immediately to Voice Mail. All this immediately after updating to 26.3.1 software.
Since update, haptics is not working!!
Screen continues to scroll after I have stopped physically scrolling. Screen jitters uncontrollably. At times the phone simply locks up and stops responding to touch while using Safari.

My telephone conferencing function no longer works on my I Phone.
I’m running an SE…it seems the conferencing function worked fine before the latest update. No longer works. Tried 3 times this morning to conference a person into a meeting. Failed all three times (it showed up as connected, but the parties could not hear me).
Please advise.
I supposed going back to older versions of the OS (where the conferencing worked just fine) is not an option?
My iPhone 17promax will not work on local WiFi. The apps for cameras and sound systems will not work. Can not log in to accounts. Lot of problems. Hope Apple is sending out another fix soon. As ai use this phone for all business and also tax season

I have loads of issues. I’m a 13 not plus. I can’t a see calls. The phone goes straight to send a message etc. blue tooth just doesn’t connect to anything. I’ve had to reenter a large number of passwords words and security measures as my face recognition won’t work or let me access my cards to pay for anything. My battery life is heavily reduced to several hours instead of a day+ when my battery health is at 98%. Safari is slow or just stops searching all together as if I haven’t entered any search. I’ve had to contact various services to reset my account and passwords etc because the apps have stopped allowing me access. So bad
My iPhone 16 Pro Max has been having issues since the last two updates. I had fixed it before this recent update and had Apple Care wipe everything on my phone and restart as a new one. Lost everything on my phone and now having the same issue since the last update. Really inconvenient. I may have to purchase a new phone on my already extremely tight budget. I need my phone and cannot be without it.
They really need to stop with all of these worthless at best, or harmful at worst “UPGRADES” and updates. LEAVE US ALONE. I’m exhausted by it all!

iPhone 13 needed to be restored from backuip after iOS 26.3.1 update. Missed morning alarms. I am not happy.
I have a 16 Pro Max and MacBook Air M2, and all downloaded music has disappeared from the iCloud for both devices. Also, apps on iPhone aren’t operating on cellular service anymore so cannot connect to anything when away from wireless.

I have 26 3 1 both on m iPhone and iMac and now the app “¨Photo’s” is not syncing anymore. I made a “shared album” on the iMac , so I am the “owner” and shared it with my family, that works but : I don’t see that album on the iPhone… I tried already to re start the iPhone but that album is not showing up.
Ditto! Also I can’t delete photos on my iPhone either. Plus they’ve been organised in a way I can’t find my photos. Some have been deleted since the upgrade. I have an SE 3rd generation.

I have a SE third generation. When I try and airdrop to my IMac I get someone else’s phone come up not mine. This person lives 40 miles away! I’ve had to try and resort to Airdrop as my phone no longer allows me to connect my iPhone to my IMac by plugging it in to import my photos as it normally does! I’m so so angry!

My iPhone 14 front camera stopped working after the last update 26.3.1. Had to delete some photos from my library, then turn the phone off and back on. It started to work again, couple of days later, same thing, no camera, turn it off, put it back on and it is working. Not wanting to keep having to do this, any help much appreciated.
My iPhone 13 back camera stopped working and camera app has been finicky. The front camera works but very slow, works better within apps (ex. Instagram)
I also am having problems on my iPhone 15 after installation of the last system upgrade. In particular, some apps are opening slowly or not at all, random sites on Safari are not opening or taking forever to open:and I am experiencing random Internet outages. my wife’s identical phone received this update several days ago, but she is not experiencing any of these problems.
I am having problems where my se 3rd gen iphone can’t reach the network. Random sites also taking forever to load. This happens often since 26.3.1 updated itself. I don’t install updates automatically but this one was applied without my permission.
