Apple has redesigned the AirPods settings menu in iOS 27, making it much easier for users to find and manage the growing list of features available on their earbuds. The updated interface appears when AirPods are connected to an iPhone, but the overall layout now feels far more organized and easier to navigate.
A More Organized AirPods Experience
In the first iOS 27 developer beta, Apple introduced a cleaner settings page that groups related options into dedicated sections with new icons. Features such as Accessibility, Audio & Routing, Hearing Health, and Controls & Gestures now have their own menus, helping reduce clutter and improve navigation.
Apple has also added a volume slider directly below the Listening Mode controls, allowing users to make quick adjustments without digging through additional settings.
New Sections Reduce Scrolling
The redesigned menu includes new categories for Battery, Privacy, and Find My settings. As a result, users no longer need to scroll through a long list of options to find specific features.
The same redesign is also available in System Settings on macOS 27 Golden Gate, creating a more consistent experience across Apple devices.
Apple plans to release public beta versions of iOS 27 and macOS 27 next month, while the final versions are expected to arrive later this fall.
