Fans of the hit drama series The Morning Show have more fresh faces to look forward to in the upcoming fifth season. Apple recently confirmed that actors Sydney Park and Jeff Wilbusch are officially joining the show in recurring roles. This news follows a long string of casting updates as the popular Apple TV program expands its workplace story following a massive fictional corporate merger.
The actors play a new assistant and a security chief
Sydney Park steps into the role of Leah, who serves as the newest assistant to network executive Cory Ellison, played by Billy Crudup. Park brings plenty of television experience to the set, having previously appeared in shows like Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists and The Walking Dead.
Meanwhile, Jeff Wilbusch takes on the character of Roman. He will play the head of protective services for the newly formed UBN news division. Wilbusch recently gained attention for his leading role in The Calling and will bring a serious edge to the corporate security side of the plot.
These two join a massive list of heavy hitters already anchored by series leads Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. The fifth season also welcomes several other newly announced guest stars, including Jeff Daniels, Jesse Williams, and Sean Hayes.
While the streaming platform has not announced an official release date for the new episodes, production is currently underway.
