Apple has released watchOS 27.2 public beta 3 for Apple Watch users registered with the Apple Beta Software Program. The update carries build 24S5101f, matching the developer seed released on October 5.
The build number is recorded in Apple’s official release listing. Apple’s watchOS 27.2 beta 3 notes do not name a new health, fitness, or interface feature for watch owners. The public seed follows the developer beta rollout from the previous day.
Apple documents three fixes for developers who test StoreKit purchases in Xcode. They cover introductory-offer eligibility, storefront and locale changes, and error dialogs during failed test purchases. A known StoreKit subscription-bundle issue remains, but the notes do not present it as a problem with normal purchases made from Apple Watch.

Think carefully before installing
To check for the update, open the Watch app on the paired iPhone, choose General, Software Update, then Beta Updates. Select the watchOS 27 public beta track if needed. Keep the watch on its charger, near the iPhone, and connected to Wi-Fi while the update installs.
Apple warns in its Beta Software Program FAQ that an Apple Watch cannot be restored to an earlier shipping version after a beta is installed. That makes this update a bigger commitment than an iPhone or Mac beta. Our watchOS 27.2 beta 2 report covers the previous seed, while a separate story explains the return of the App Switcher. Use Feedback Assistant on the paired iPhone to report repeatable watchOS problems directly to Apple.
