Apple is rolling out another round of software updates for developers this week. The company just released the first beta for its upcoming wearable operating system, bringing a couple of handy new tools directly to the wrist. With the latest watchOS 27 beta, developers can test out two major additions called Siri Recap and Live Rewind that make using the small device much easier now.
Here are the new Siri Recap and Live Rewind features explained
The main focus of this software update is making daily tasks faster. The developer build introduces a few intelligent functions designed to save you time.
- Siri Recap gives you a quick audio summary of missed notifications, messages, and calendar events so you do not have to look at the screen.
- Live Rewind lets you skip backward during live audio playback directly from the now playing screen on your Apple Watch.
- Both tools use on-device processing to protect your privacy while giving you fast access to your daily alerts.
These additions make the overall watchOS experience feel much more capable. You can also expect these tools to work nicely alongside the new features found in the recent iOS 27.3 beta 1 release. It is great to see Apple putting more focus on voice commands for its wearables.
