Member Tags Add Context to Group Chats
Member Tags allow users to label themselves differently in each group chat. This helps others understand their role at a glance.
For example, you can appear as “Coach” in a sports group and “Dad” in a family chat. Each tag stays specific to that group, so it does not affect how you appear elsewhere.
This feature works well in large groups where not everyone knows each other personally.
Text Stickers Turn Words Into Visual Messages
WhatsApp now lets users convert typed words into stickers. You simply type text into Sticker Search, and the app turns it into a sticker-style graphic.
You can also save these text stickers directly to your sticker packs. That means you do not need to send them in a chat first to keep them for later use.
This feature helps messages stand out, especially in busy group conversations.
Event Reminders Help People Stay on Schedule
Event Reminders make planning inside group chats more reliable. When you create an event, you can now set early custom reminders for everyone invited.
This helps people remember important details, such as when to leave for a party or when to join a scheduled call. The reminder timing depends on the type of event you create.
