Apple Intelligence launches with iOS 27 on Monday, September 14 in 16 languages, and Siri AI arrives the same day as a beta in English only. For an organisation, three published lines decide more than the hardware does: the device list, the language list, and the fact that Siri AI is not available initially in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, and is not available in China at all.
Apple has published no administrator controls, no management documentation and no enterprise terms for any of it on the pages covering this launch, so everything below is what Apple itself states.

Which devices qualify
Apple’s Apple Intelligence page lists the supported hardware by platform, from the iPhone Duo down to a three-year-old iPhone 15 Pro. Anything older than these lines runs iOS 27 or macOS 27 without the intelligence features.

A second, narrower tier exists. Siri voice customisation and the improved on-device Dictation model need an iPhone 18 Pro or Pro Max, iPhone Duo, iPhone 17 Pro or Pro Max, iPhone Air, an iPad with M4 or later and 12GB of unified memory, a Mac with M3 or later and 12GB, or an M5 Vision Pro.
The languages, and the ones Siri AI does not speak yet
Apple Intelligence covers Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Siri AI itself is narrower. Apple states it rolls out on September 14 for users with a supported device set to English, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish following in October. Apple gives no date in October and no list beyond those five.
The EU and China lines, in Apple’s words
Apple’s wording is specific about which platforms are affected. Mac and Apple Vision Pro users in the EU can access Siri AI when set to a supported language, and Siri AI will not be available initially in the EU in iOS, iPadOS and watchOS. Apple adds that it is working to find a path forward that preserves user privacy and security.
For China, Apple states that Siri AI and the other new Apple Intelligence features will not be available while it works through regulatory requirements. No date is attached to either statement.
Limits Apple has confirmed but not quantified
Apple states that certain features relying on server-side models are subject to daily usage limits, naming Siri AI, Intelligent Photo Editing Tools, Image Playground and AFM 3 Cloud models in Shortcuts, and that those limits may vary by feature, request complexity and system demand. It also says increased access comes with most iCloud+ plans, and that expanded access will be available for a fee in the future.
No number is attached to any of that. There is no published daily allowance, no published price for the future tier and no published date for it.
What Apple has not said
Apple has published no administrator controls, no management settings and no organisation-level terms for Apple Intelligence or Siri AI in this launch material, and we will not describe behaviour Apple has not documented. Several features are also narrower than the headline: Call Context, Messages and Mail Suggestions are English only, Wallet bill splitting and Maps Local Lists are US only, and Apple Pay Tap to Share is not available in the European Economic Area. Messages Suggestions and the Passwords auto-update are listed as coming in a future software update with no date. On the developer side Apple does publish one concrete business detail: Small Business Program developers get the Foundation Models framework on Private Cloud Compute at no cloud API cost. Apple’s privacy claim for the rest is that personal data is not stored or made accessible to Apple or anyone else, and that outside experts can verify that at any time. The A20 Pro handles the on-device half.
iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, watchOS 27 and visionOS 27 all ship on Monday, September 14. Any organisation that needs the EU or China position settled has no published date to plan against yet.
