The iPhone 18 Pro costs $1,199 for 256GB, $1,399 for 512GB, $1,799 for 1TB and $2,399 for 2TB, and the iPhone 18 Pro Max costs $1,299, $1,499, $1,899 and $2,499 for the same four tiers, according to Apple’s Store page. Those are unlocked US prices, and they fill in the numbers Wednesday’s press release left out.
The release named all four storage sizes but priced only the 256GB models, which is why our earlier iPhone 18 Pro price story could only confirm the $100 increase over the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. With the Store page live, the full ladder is public, and the spread from the cheapest Pro to the most expensive Pro Max is $1,300.

The Pro Max premium is a flat $100 at every tier, so the 6.9-inch model never costs proportionally more as storage rises. Apple’s Store page lists these as unlocked prices; carrier pricing is not covered here.

What each step up in storage costs
The gaps between tiers are not equal. Going from 256GB to 512GB adds $200 ($1,399 minus $1,199). Going from 512GB to 1TB adds $400 ($1,799 minus $1,399). Going from 1TB to 2TB adds $600 ($2,399 minus $1,799). Each step costs $200 more than the one before it.
Add those up and the 2TB iPhone 18 Pro is $1,200 more than the 256GB model ($200 plus $400 plus $600), which is one dollar more than the base phone itself. In other words, the top tier costs almost exactly twice the entry price. The same $1,200 spread applies to the Pro Max: $2,499 minus $1,299.

Monthly pricing: what Apple has published and what it has not
Apple’s press release gives monthly figures only for the base models: $49.95 a month for 24 months for the iPhone 18 Pro and $54.12 a month for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Multiplied out, $49.95 times 24 is $1,198.80 and $54.12 times 24 is $1,298.88, so both land within pennies of the sticker prices.
Apple has not published monthly figures for the 512GB, 1TB or 2TB models. As a guide only, dividing the Store prices by 24 gives about $58.29 for the 512GB Pro, $74.96 for the 1TB Pro and $99.96 for the 2TB Pro, and about $62.46, $79.12 and $104.12 for the equivalent Pro Max models. Those are our division, not Apple’s terms, and the actual instalments will depend on the financing option offered at checkout.
Which tier the camera and video specs point to
The reason a 2TB iPhone exists is on Apple’s tech specs page. All three rear cameras are 48MP Fusion sensors, video runs up to 4K Dolby Vision at 120 fps, and Apple Reference Image keeps an untouched original next to every edit, which doubles the footprint of any photo you touch. One detail cuts the other way. Apple lists ProRes at up to 4K 120 fps with external recording, meaning the most demanding video mode is designed for a drive plugged into the USB-C port (USB 3, up to 10 Gb/s). Anyone planning to shoot that way may find 1TB, at $600 less than 2TB, is the more sensible ceiling.
For most buyers the $200 step to 512GB is the easiest to justify, since it is the smallest jump on the ladder and doubles the base capacity. The $400 and $600 steps are for people who already know they fill phones.
