No US carrier has published an iPhone Duo launch offer, and Apple’s Duo pages carry none either. The up to $1,200 trade-in wording that AT&T and T-Mobile place on Apple’s Store site sits on the iPhone 18 Pro page, not on the foldable’s, so there is currently nothing carrier-specific to quote for iPhone Duo.
What is settled is Apple’s own pricing and calendar. iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 for 256GB and rises to $3,199 for 2TB, pre-orders open Friday, October 16, and it reaches more than 70 countries on Friday, October 23, with 28 more regions on October 30. That six-week gap after the September 18 iPhone 18 Pro launch is the reason carrier promotions are still blank.

Where the carriers stand on the two new iPhones
Apple’s Store site is the only place a carrier figure appears for this launch at all, and it covers one product. For iPhone 18 Pro, AT&T’s line reads up to $1,200 for an eligible trade-in in any condition and T-Mobile’s reads save up to $1,200 on the same basis, both paid as monthly bill credits over 36 months on a qualifying plan. Verizon has no wording on the page.

Apple’s press release repeats the generic version, that carrier trade-in deals provide up to $1,200 credit, and does not extend it to the foldable. Treat any Duo number you see before October as a carrier quote rather than an announced promotion.
The timing explains a lot of the silence. Carrier wording for iPhone 18 Pro went up alongside a September 12 pre-order, five days after the announcement, while Duo pre-orders are more than five weeks out. The Apple routes that do exist today
Apple publishes three ways to pay for iPhone Duo: in full, at $83.29 a month across 24 months, or through the Apple Upgrade lease from $57.99 a month. Apple’s trade-in credit of $175 to $885 for an iPhone 13 or later is stated for iPhone 18 Pro, and Apple has not confirmed how those values apply to the Duo.

What to ask a carrier before October 16
- Whether the iPhone 18 Pro trade-in promotion extends to iPhone Duo, or whether a separate offer is planned.
- Whether the credit ceiling changes on a $1,999 to $3,199 device rather than a $1,199 one.
- How a foldable is financed if the carrier splits the balance over 36 months while Apple uses 24.
- Whether the carrier will stock the 1TB and 2TB tiers or only the entry configuration.
- What the activation path looks like on launch day, given the October 23 first wave.
- Whether device protection or insurance pricing differs for a folding screen.
What Apple has not said
Apple has not published any carrier offer for iPhone Duo, any per-model trade-in value toward it, monthly financing figures for the 512GB, 1TB and 2TB tiers, or an AppleCare price for the product. It also has not named the countries in the October 30 second wave.
Pre-orders start on October 16 and the first wave lands on October 23, which leaves five weeks for the carriers to post terms. If the iPhone 18 Pro pattern holds, the first place a number appears will be Apple’s own Store page during checkout.
