Apple Invites Media to “2” Event, iPad Expected

Apple began sending out invitations to a media event on March 2nd, an invitation that more than hints it will be the expected iPad 2 announcement. The invitation features a iCal-like calendar page with March and “2,” along with a tear-away that shows the corner of an iPad underneath.

AllThingsD reported Tuesday that Apple would be holding this event, and analysts and pundits have been expecting the company to announce an iPad refresh for weeks.

The event will be held in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts at 10:00 AM, PST.

Probably at least cameras fore and aft, more memory, and maybe a better display.
