Satechi is expanding its accessory lineup with a brand new desktop charging hub. The accessory maker just launched the ChargeView 140W Desktop Charger in the USA. This new power hub is designed to sit right on top of your desk instead of hiding on the floor, and it comes with a built-in screen so you can see exactly how much juice your devices are pulling.
The desktop charger displays power usage and handles four devices
The ChargeView features four USB-C ports and delivers up to 140 watts of total power. That is enough energy to charge a laptop like a Mac at full speed. When you plug in more hardware, the hub automatically splits the power so each gadget gets what it needs safely. It supports fast charging for the iPhone and the iPad, while internal protections stop things from overheating or pulling too much current.
The most interesting part of this hub is the digital display on the front. Satechi built a screen that shows real-time wattage numbers. You do not have to guess if your Apple gear is charging quickly anymore. You can just look at the hub and see exactly how many watts each port is pushing out.
To keep your workspace looking clean, the device comes in a space black aluminum finish. It also includes a small stand so you can place it vertically or lay it flat, depending on how much room you have. The ChargeView is available right now for $100 from the company’s website.
