The thrilling new footage gives eager viewers a close look at the ongoing chaos facing the Dessen family as they continue to jump through a dangerous and unpredictable multiverse.
The Dessen family is forced back on the run again
Season two picks up right where the first season left off. Jason, played by Joel Edgerton, and Daniela, played by Jennifer Connelly, try to settle into a quiet and safe life with their son. However, that peace ends quickly when an unknown threat forces the family to flee once again.

As they run, Jason becomes even more obsessed with the mysterious Box that allows them to travel between worlds. At the same time, Daniela struggles with growing paranoia that threatens to tear their fragile safety apart.
Other characters attempt to find their way back home safely
The new season will also focus heavily on other characters exploring the multiverse. Amanda and Ryan will team up in a desperate attempt to find their original home. Meanwhile, Blair is on a mission to stop Leighton, who is ruthlessly trying to build his own twisted version of a perfect reality.
Fans can watch the new season when it officially arrives on Apple TV on Friday, August 28. The streaming service will release the first of ten episodes that day, with new chapters dropping every week until October. With multiple groups fighting for control over the Box, this season promises to deliver an intense ride.
