The season uses a two-episode launch
Apple’s schedule gives viewers two chapters on November 4 before switching to weekly releases. That makes December 30 the stated endpoint for the run, assuming the platform keeps the announced calendar.

The date is global on Apple TV, but local release times can cross into a different calendar day depending on region. The confirmed information is the platform’s Wednesday schedule, not an inferred universal clock time.
Pryce and Santi remain the emotional pairing
The series follows Pryce, an ex-pro whose career collapsed years earlier, and Santi, the gifted teenager on whom he stakes a possible comeback. Their bond turns the golf story into a found-family comedy.
Season 2 brings back Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant alongside Wilson and Dager. Apple has not yet attached detailed episode titles to its release announcement.
Rhea Seehorn expands the returning ensemble
Seehorn joins in a supporting role after her work in Apple’s Pluribus. The announcement confirms her participation without disclosing a character name or revealing how she enters Pryce’s golf world.
That is an intentional limit worth preserving. Her casting can signal a meaningful new relationship or rival, but it does not establish one until Apple provides the role or the episodes show it.
The two-episode premiere gives Season 2 room to reestablish Pryce and Santi before settling into its weekly rhythm. Viewers get a larger opening movement, but Apple’s calendar still preserves eight later Wednesdays for discussion and character development.
The December 30 finale also keeps the comedy active across the holiday period. That long window can help the golf story feel like a season rather than a single tournament compressed into one binge.
Seehorn is the largest announced change, but Apple has deliberately withheld her role. Until a character name or fuller synopsis appears, it is safer to describe her as a new supporting player than assign her a rivalry, romance or coaching position. Her eventual introduction should be judged by how it changes Pryce and Santi’s partnership, the relationship the series has already established as its center.
