The Sisters Grimm Season 3 Renewal Status: What Season 2 Leaves Open for Sabrina and Daphne

Apple TV has not renewed The Sisters Grimm for Season 3 as of October 6, 2026. Season 2 can leave story threads available, but an open ending is not the same thing as a production order.

That distinction is especially important for an adaptation with several books to draw from. Michael Buckley’s series offers more material for Sabrina and Daphne, yet Apple has not confirmed which book, episode count or release window would follow.

Season 3 remains unconfirmed

Apple’s current press materials promote Season 2 and its characters without announcing another season. No premiere date, production start or returning cast list for Season 3 appears in the platform’s official record.

A renewal could still arrive after Apple evaluates completion and engagement. Until it does, language such as renewed, ordered or returning would overstate what is publicly known.

Sabrina and Daphne still have room to grow

The sisters’ central conflict is larger than solving one Ferryport Landing mystery. Sabrina’s distrust of the magical world and Daphne’s willingness to embrace it repeatedly push them toward different choices.

Mirror, Puck, Prince Charming and Mr. Canis also connect the girls to alliances whose motives can change. Those relationships give a future season material even if Season 2 resolves its immediate threat.

The books provide options, not a guaranteed roadmap

Buckley’s novels continue the Grimm family story across multiple adventures. Apple can draw from that mythology, combine events or change their order, as screen adaptations often do.

The correct renewal status is therefore simple: there is source material and narrative opportunity, but no Season 3 order yet. Viewers should wait for Apple or the production team to confirm the next chapter.

A renewal article must separate narrative possibility from business status. More books, surviving characters and an unfinished relationship can support a creative argument for continuation, but none of them confirms that Apple has ordered episodes.

Season 2’s performance will matter more than the simple existence of source material. Apple can also wait until after the full season has circulated before deciding whether Sabrina and Daphne’s next adventure fits its animation slate.

For now, viewers have a genuine open door rather than a hidden announcement. Any update should begin with Apple’s confirmation, then identify the episode count, production status and release window separately. Cast availability and the animation schedule would then determine how quickly another chapter could realistically reach the service after an order and sustain its quality.

Season 2 keeps the door open, while Apple has not walked through it yet. Which Sabrina and Daphne storyline should a third season tackle first? Share your pick.
