Marco Moretti brings a new power center
Sergio Castellitto joins the season as Marco Moretti, the head of an Italian Mafia crime family. Netflix describes Marco as powerful, serious and influential, which makes him an immediate complication once Eddie and Susie push their operation into Northern Italy.
The official material stops short of explaining exactly how far Marco’s influence reaches or how every meeting with Eddie and Susie develops. It does establish that the pair can no longer work unnoticed as they expand, so Marco represents more than a brief stop on their route. He is part of the new balance of power the season creates.
Bella and Cico connect the personal and criminal sides
Benedetta Porcaroli plays Bella, an orphaned Italian aristocrat whom Netflix describes as equally comfortable around nobility and danger. The platform also says that Bella and Eddie share an immediate connection, though that setup should not be confused with a complete explanation of her place in the season.
Michele Morrone plays Cico Maldini, Bella’s husband and a small-time Italian criminal with a deep network of contacts. Netflix identifies Cico as the local fixer and guide Eddie and Susie rely on as they enter unfamiliar territory. The role gives the season a practical way into Italy while leaving clear questions about trust and competing interests.
What the new cast says about Season 2
The returning cast remains central, but the additions show why the new season is larger than a repeat of the first. Eddie and Susie are working in a setting where their title, money and old alliances do not automatically protect them. Marco, Bella and Cico each bring a different form of access to that world.
