Apple has started a new week of Apple Watch software updates. After releasing watchOS 26.2.1 earlier today, Apple has now seeded watchOS 26.3 beta 3 to developers for testing.
The latest developer beta carries build number 23S5611c and shows up through the usual software update path on Apple Watch.
Right now, watchOS 26.3 still looks like a smaller mid-cycle update. Early testers have not flagged major new features yet.
How to update to watchOS 26.3 beta 3 (developer)
- Keep your iPhone updated to the latest available iOS build.
- Open the Watch app on iPhone.
- Go to General > Software Update.
- Tap Beta Updates and select the developer beta option tied to your Apple Account.
- Download and install.
Before you start, make sure your Apple Watch is on its charger and has enough battery to finish the install.
Changes in watchOS 26.3 beta 3
Apple has not published a full public changelog for this beta, and nothing major has surfaced so far. That usually points to under-the-hood work rather than headline features.
Here is what you should expect in this build:
- Bug fixes and stability improvements focused on day-to-day reliability.
- Performance tuning that can reduce slowdowns in system apps.
- Ongoing polish to features already introduced earlier in watchOS 26.
Looking ahead, reports also point to Apple preparing a broader Siri showcase later in February, tied to the next wave of platform betas.
