Apple sells three Apple Watches, and its own comparison page still shows five. The store lists Apple Watch SE 3 from $249, Apple Watch Series 12 from $399 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 from $799, while Apple’s compare page keeps columns for the Series 11 and Ultra 3 it has taken off sale.
That would be a harmless lag if the rest of the grid held up. It does not. One feature row marks ECG and Blood Oxygen as present on Apple Watch SE 3, and Apple’s own SE 3 tech specs page lists neither sensor, so the column that matters most to a buyer choosing the cheapest watch is the one to distrust.

Apple’s Series 11 shop page now returns an error, and the Ultra shop address leads to Ultra 4 at From $799. Neither Series 11 nor Ultra 3 appears anywhere in Apple’s Watch buying flow, and Apple publishes no price for either.

The two columns you cannot buy
Series 11 and Ultra 3 arrived in September 2025 at $399 and $799, the same starting figures their successors carry now. Their specifications have not changed, and watchOS 27 still supports both, so nothing about them is broken.
What has gone is Apple’s supply. A grid that puts a discontinued watch beside a new one, with no label to say which you can order, is answering a question nobody is asking on launch weekend.
There is a knock-on effect. Apple’s full Series 11 tech specs page now redirects to the Watch landing page, which leaves the compare grid as the only Apple source for several Series 11 rows. For a watch Apple no longer stocks that is a curiosity. For the row below it is a problem.
The row that does not match Apple’s spec sheet
The compare page groups hypertension notifications, sleep score, ECG, Blood Oxygen and temperature into one row and marks them present across all five columns, SE 3 included. Apple’s SE 3 tech specs page lists a temperature sensor, and no electrical heart sensor and no blood oxygen sensor.
Apple’s own ECG wording settles which page is right. The app is described as available on “Apple Watch Series 4 and later (excluding Apple Watch SE models) and all Apple Watch Ultra models”, and intended for people 22 years old or older. An SE has never taken an ECG.

We are flagging it rather than repeating it. If a sensor decides your purchase, the per-model tech specs page is the document to read, not the grid.
The prices the grid never prints
The compare page carries price fields that render as unfilled placeholder codes rather than figures, and Apple’s shop pages show only the three “From” prices. There is no published list of what a 46mm case, a titanium case, a ceramic case or a cellular model adds.
The same gap runs through the accessories. Apple lists roughly 20 Ultra 4 band combinations and a dozen Hermes configurations with no prices attached, and it has priced none of the new Sport Band, Sport Loop, Milanese Loop or Modern Buckle colors. The two monthly figures Apple did publish are $11.99 a month over 24 months for a Series 12 42mm and $24.99 a month for Ultra 4.
Which Apple page to trust for what
- Sensors, battery ratings, water ratings, weights and case dimensions: the individual tech specs page for that exact model.
- Update eligibility: Apple’s watchOS page, which lists eight supported watches and requires iPhone 11 or later, or iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), running iOS 27.
- Prices: the shop pages, which publish starting figures only.
- Launch claims such as heart rate every five seconds: Apple’s September 9 press releases, as covered in our event recap.
- The compare page: useful for the shape of the line, not for a purchase decision.
What has not been confirmed
Apple has not published per-configuration Watch prices, band prices, Hermes prices, per-model trade-in values or an AppleCare+ price for Series 12 or Ultra 4. It has not said whether the SE 3 row will be corrected, has not restored a full Series 11 specs page, and has published no release time for watchOS 27.
watchOS 27 arrives on Monday, September 14 as a free update alongside iOS 27, and Series 12 and Ultra 4 reach stores on Friday, September 18. Anyone deciding this weekend should open the tech specs page for the exact model in the cart first.
