Apple published exact prices for the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5, down to individual cases and wrist straps. Five costs buyers routinely assume are already covered by that sticker price are not: the fast-charge adapter, per-device AppleCare+, the protection an Apple Upgrade lease is assumed to include, any repair price, and the carbon cost that comes with more storage.
None of the five gaps below are guesses. Each is either an empty price cell on Apple’s own page or a figure stated plainly in Apple’s own documents and then left out of the marketing that surrounds it.
Key facts: what Apple has priced to the dollar
| Item | US price |
|---|---|
| iPhone 18 Pro TechWoven Case with MagSafe | $59 |
| iPhone 18 Pro Clear Case / Silicone Case with MagSafe | $49 each |
| iPhone 18 Pro FineWoven Wallet with MagSafe | $59 |
| iPhone 18 Pro Wrist Strap / Crossbody Strap | $29 / $59 |
| iPhone Duo Case / Folio with Kickstand | $79 / $129 |
| AppleCare One (up to 3 devices) | $19.99/month |
| AppleCare One Family (up to 6 people, from Sept 14) | $49.99/month |
Every figure in that table comes from Apple’s own newsroom releases and store pages for the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo. It is the half of ownership Apple wants priced clearly, and it is.

The charger nobody prices
iPhone 18 Pro’s claim of 50 percent charge in about 15 minutes requires a 60W-capable adapter. Apple’s current fast charger is named the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter with 60W Max, and its product page renders with no price text across every regional Apple storefront checked, including the US and UK. AirPods 5 goes further: Apple’s own listing states the earbuds “do not include a USB-C Charge Cable or power adapter” at all, not even the cable that ships in every iPhone box.
Coverage that exists only as a bundle
Apple’s support pricing tables carry rows for iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Duo, AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, plus the HermĆØs editions, but the monthly and annual price cells are blank on every page fetched. The only two AppleCare figures that exist for this entire launch are the multi-device bundles: AppleCare One at $19.99 a month for up to three products, and AppleCare One Family at $49.99 a month for up to six people sharing a Family Sharing group, available from September 14.
What a lease does not include
Apple Upgrade, the Klarna-run lease that replaced the retired iPhone Upgrade Program, starts at $17.99 a month and excludes AppleCare by design. Apple’s own footnote says a customer “can add an AppleCare subscription” on top of the lease payment, as a separate line. The program it replaced cost more than $42 a month and had AppleCare folded into that figure, which is the difference worth budgeting for now.
The cost storage adds beyond dollars
Apple’s Product Environmental Report for iPhone 18 Pro states gross emissions of 63 kg CO2e at 256GB, rising to 109 kg CO2e at 2TB. That is Apple’s own figure, published only in the PDF report and absent from the product page where the storage decision actually gets made.
| Coverage plan | Monthly price | Devices |
|---|---|---|
| AppleCare One | $19.99 | Up to 3 (+$5.99 each extra) |
| AppleCare One Family | $49.99 | Up to 6 people, from Sept 14 |
| Per-device AppleCare+ (18 Pro, Pro Max, Duo, AirPods 5, Series 12, Ultra 4) | Not published | 1 |
