Apple on October 13 announced Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted), a $299 version of its new smart home display that goes on a wall instead of a counter. Apple says it attaches with one of three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home, priced from $59.95 to $129.95, so the cheapest wall setup starts at $358.95 in the U.S.

Pre-orders for the wall model opened on October 13 alongside the tabletop HomeView, and Apple says both models are available beginning Friday, November 13. Two of the three mounts can be ordered now, while the third arrives in early 2027.
The three Schneider Home mounts
Apple’s HomeView announcement on Apple Newsroom says HomeView (Wall Mounted) “will be available with a choice of three purpose-built mounts from Schneider Home.” Here is how they are priced and when you can get them.

| Mount | U.S. price | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector | Starting at $59.95 | Order from October 13 at apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app |
| Power Mount AC Wired | Starting at $79.95 | Order from October 13 at apple.com/store and in the Apple Store app |
| Power Mount PoE Wired | $129.95 | Early 2027 |
Apple’s release names the mounts and prices them, but it does not describe the wiring each one needs or how they differ beyond their names. Check Apple’s store listing for each mount before you buy to confirm it suits the power available at your wall.
All three prices in Apple’s release are U.S. prices. The release does not list mount prices for the other launch countries.

What a wall setup costs
The wall-mounted HomeView costs the same $299 (U.S.) as the tabletop model. The mount is a separate purchase with its own price, so the starting cost of a wall setup depends on which mount you pick.
| Setup | HomeView (Wall Mounted) | Mount | Starting total |
|---|---|---|---|
| With Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector | $299 | $59.95 | $358.95 |
| With Power Mount AC Wired | $299 | $79.95 | $378.95 |
| With Power Mount PoE Wired (early 2027) | $299 | $129.95 | $428.95 |
These totals do not include professional installation, which carries its own charge (see below). Apple lists the USB-C and AC mounts with “starting at” prices.
How the wall model differs from the tabletop HomeView
Apple describes the wall-mounted HomeView as “a separate wall-mounted HomeView model” that “offers the same 7-inch Liquid Retina display, powerful set of features, and rich audio.” Apple says it is meant for spaces like the entryway or hallway, while the tabletop model suits a kitchen counter, nightstand, or side table.
The differences Apple spells out are colors, design and audio.
- Colors: the tabletop HomeView comes in silver, starlight, rose pink, and space gray. The wall model comes in space gray and silver only.
- Design: the tabletop model has a domed speaker base connected to the display by a stainless steel hinge for tilting, and it ships with a color-matched USB-C cable. Apple describes the wall model by its mounts rather than a base.
- Audio: the tabletop model uses two custom full-range drivers in the display, plus a down-firing woofer and two force-cancelling passive radiators in the base. Apple says the wall version “delivers rich sound with two custom drivers and computational audio tuned specifically for on-wall placement.”
- Materials: Apple says HomeView uses 100 percent recycled aluminum in the enclosure base of the tabletop model and in the enclosure of the wall-mounted model.
Everything else carries over. Both models have Siri AI, face recognition for up to six people with personal Home Screens, and the Home Camera face that can livestream up to nine video feeds at once. Our main HomeView launch story covers those features in detail.
Installation and the ADT option
Apple says the wall-mounted HomeView comes “with options for self-installation or professional installation.” The HomeView release does not name an installer.
Apple’s separate Apple Home Collection release, also published on October 13, says that “for customers who prefer to have their smart home accessories professionally installed, Apple Retail now offers third-party installation from ADT for an additional charge, available in the U.S. starting this fall.” That offer is framed around smart home accessories in general, so check with Apple Retail that it covers HomeView and its Schneider Home mount before you book. We cover the rest of that lineup in our Apple Home Collection story.
Where you can buy it
Customers in Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, the UK, and the U.S. can pre-order Apple HomeView (Wall Mounted) from apple.com/store and the Apple Store app. Customers in Singapore can pre-order starting Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. SGT. In South Africa, both HomeView models will be sold through Apple Authorized Resellers. Availability begins Friday, November 13 in all of these countries.
Apple says HomeView is not available for sale in the European Union, “as Siri AI is currently unavailable in iOS in the EU.”
What you need
Setup and multiuser support require a compatible iPhone or iPad running the latest software, according to Apple’s footnotes. Siri AI is available in beta in HomeView software version 27.2, and personal context requests require a paired Apple Intelligence-enabled iPhone or iPad. Siri AI on HomeView works in English in the U.S., Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK, with Canadian French support coming later in a free software update.
If you want a HomeView by the front door, the cheapest route is the $299 wall model plus the $59.95 Power Mount USB-C Wall Connector. The $129.95 Power Mount PoE Wired follows in early 2027.
