A viral post from Polymarket went further, accusing Apple of digitally stretching the fingers to make the large device look easier to hold.

Apple only promises one-handed use when it is closed
The distinction missing from much of the viral conversation is that Apple’s announcement describes the Duo as comfortable to use one-handed while closed. Apple promotes the open 7.6-inch screen as a larger canvas for content, gaming, and multitasking, but it does not claim every person will comfortably span the unfolded device with one hand.
That wording matters. The controversial image shows a hand reaching around the open device, while Apple’s practical one-handed claim applies to its smaller 5.4-inch outer display.
