Apple’s four iPhone Duo prices are $1,999, $2,199, $2,599 and $3,199 for 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB. Each step up the range costs $200, then $400, then $600, which is exactly what the same three steps cost on an iPhone 18 Pro and an iPhone 18 Pro Max.
Because all three phones climb the same ladder, the gap between them never moves. The Duo is $700 more than an iPhone 18 Pro Max at every tier and $800 more than the 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro at every tier. All of these figures come from Apple’s Store pages.
The three price lists, side by side
Nothing in the iPhone Duo storage pricing is a foldable surcharge. The surcharge sits entirely in the base price.

| Tier | iPhone 18 Pro | iPhone 18 Pro Max | iPhone Duo | Duo over Pro Max |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 256GB | $1,199 | $1,299 | $1,999 | $700 |
| 512GB | $1,399 | $1,499 | $2,199 | $700 |
| 1TB | $1,799 | $1,899 | $2,599 | $700 |
| 2TB | $2,399 | $2,499 | $3,199 | $700 |
One storage ladder, three phones
| Step | Extra storage | Price on all three phones | Per extra gigabyte |
|---|---|---|---|
| 256GB to 512GB | 256GB | $200 | about 78 cents |
| 512GB to 1TB | about 512GB | $400 | about 78 cents |
| 1TB to 2TB | about 1TB | $600 | about 60 cents |
The three steps sit in a one, two, three ratio. Treating 1TB as 1,000GB, the last step is the cheapest per gigabyte and also the largest single sum anyone spends on this range.
A 2TB iPhone Duo at $3,199 is the highest figure on Apple’s current iPhone price list. The next highest is the 2TB iPhone 18 Pro Max at $2,499.
That matters for the way most buyers shop, because the tier is usually chosen after the phone. On this lineup the order does not change the bill, since the second decision costs the same either way.
The gap holds in every currency Apple has published
| Market | Duo 256GB | Pro Max 256GB | Gap at all four tiers |
|---|---|---|---|
| US | $1,999 | $1,299 | $700 |
| UK | £1,999 | £1,299 | £700 |
| Canada | C$2,999 | C$1,899 | C$1,100 |
| Australia | A$3,499 | A$2,299 | A$1,200 |
| Germany | €2,299 | €1,599 | €700 |
| France | €2,339 | €1,629 | €710 |
| Japan | ¥364,800 | ¥239,800 | ¥125,000 |
| Singapore | S$3,099 | S$2,099 | S$1,000 |
| UAE | AED 8,499 | AED 5,499 | AED 3,000 |
| India | ₹2,99,900 | ₹1,79,900 | ₹1,20,000 |
A constant gap and an identical storage ladder are the same fact stated two ways, and Apple has held to it in all ten storefronts that list both phones.
The ladder itself is local. Germany’s three steps are €250, €500 and €750 against $200, $400 and $600 in the US, and every market keeps the same one, two, three shape. US list prices exclude sales tax while several other storefronts quote tax-inclusive figures, so the columns are not a like-for-like conversion.
What it changes when you pick a tier
The fold and the storage are two separate decisions with two separate prices. If you want 1TB, the step costs $400 whichever of the three phones you choose.
Stepping down from a 2TB Duo to a 2TB iPhone 18 Pro Max saves $700, the same amount it saves at 256GB. Deciding between the two iPhone 18 Pro sizes works the same way, at $100 a tier.
It also means the cheapest way into a big storage tier is still the smaller phone. A 1TB iPhone 18 Pro is $1,799, which is $200 less than a 256GB Duo, and a 2TB iPhone 18 Pro at $2,399 costs less than a 1TB Duo at $2,599.
What has not been confirmed
Apple’s iPhone Duo release publishes a monthly figure for the 256GB model only, $83.29 over 24 months. There is no published US monthly figure for the other three tiers.
Apple has not published an AppleCare+ price for iPhone Duo, and it has not published repair pricing for it. Its own trade-in wording in the US is a range, $175 to $885 for an iPhone 13 or later, with no per-model table.
No carrier has published an iPhone Duo offer, and Apple’s Duo release does not extend to the foldable the up to $1,200 carrier trade-in credit it cites for iPhone 18 Pro.
Pre-orders open Friday, October 16 at 5 a.m. PT, and iPhone Duo goes on sale Friday, October 23 in more than 70 countries and regions, with 28 more on Friday, October 30.
