Apple’s new Mac mini and Mac Studio have moved from preorder to retail availability, letting buyers check local Apple Store stock for pickup instead of waiting only for delivery. Same-day collection depends on the exact chip, memory, storage, and store selected at checkout.
Apple’s current Mac mini order page and Mac Studio order page now direct buyers to local in-stock availability and pickup options. Apple says many configurations can be ready to ship or collect, while customized selections can change delivery estimates and remove same-day pickup.
The retail switch follows the September 22 general-sale date. Mac mini is available with M6 starting at $899 or M5 Pro starting at $1,699 in the United States. Mac Studio starts at $2,499 with M5 Max and $5,499 with M5 Ultra. Displays, keyboards, and pointing devices remain separate purchases.

Pickup depends on configuration and location
Base models are the most likely candidates for immediate store stock. Adding more unified memory, storage, 10Gb Ethernet, or other build-to-order options can push an order to delivery instead. Apple asks for a location during checkout, so a pickup promise shown for one city should not be treated as nationwide inventory.
