Omnioutliner 6.2

The team at Omni Group just released a major update for its popular outlining software. OmniOutliner 6.2 is officially out today, bringing a massive localization effort that expands the tool to people across the globe. You can now use the app in a total of eleven languages. This release builds on the big version six launch from earlier this year, making the tool much more accessible for international users on their favorite Apple devices.

The update translates the app for users around the world

The new version adds full support for Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish. Omni Group founder Ken Case noted that translating the software shows the company actually values its international neighbors. He explained that dedicating resources to this project felt great because it directly aligns with their main mission.

This update touches every version of the software. Whether you organize notes on a Mac or build complex outlines on an iPad, the native language options will be ready for you. It also applies to the mobile app for the iPhone and the spatial computing version built for the Vision Pro.

If you want to try it out, the company offers a free trial for two weeks. After that, you can choose a subscription for fifty dollars a year. You also have the option to buy a basic license for twenty-five dollars or a pro license for one hundred dollars. Adding these new languages proves the developer plans to keep supporting its software for everyone.
