Apple released the first tvOS 26.3 developer beta in mid-December. Now, tvOS 26.3 beta 2 is available for developers, and it carries build number 23K5600b.
The earlier tvOS 26.3 beta 1 build was 23K5585c, posted on December 15, 2025. Apple seeded beta 2 on January 12, 2026, continuing the test cycle ahead of a wider release.
How to update tvOS 26.3 beta 2
- On Apple TV, open Settings.
- Go to System.
- Select Software Updates.
- Turn on beta updates (developer access required), then download and install.
What’s changed in this beta
Apple has not highlighted major user-facing additions in beta 2 so far. Early reporting points to bug fixes, stability improvements, and under-the-hood performance work rather than new features.
