This feature was capable of scanning over six hundred thousand individual files on my system in about six minutes, and I can also scan my iPhone or iPad if I connect it to my Mac via Bluetooth. Note, however, that you need to turn on this feature in VirusBarrier Preferences (main screen of the app).
Unfortunately, one downside is that there is no native iOS app. However, I noticed virtually no slowdown in my CPU usage while performing a scan on my system.

The ability to easily switch between public and private firewall settings is a real blessing, though you may get annoyed at NetBarrier asking for app permissions.
