AirPods 5 price in Canada
Apple’s Canadian release lists the standard AirPods 5 at C$179 and the Wireless Charging Case model at C$209. Those are the only two AirPods 5 figures Apple has published for Canada, and neither comes with a monthly option, unlike iPhone 18 Pro, which the same newsroom lists at C$1,749 or C$72.87 a month over 24 months.

AirPods 5 price in Australia
Apple’s Australian release lists AirPods 5 at RRP A$219 inc. GST and AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case at RRP A$249 inc. GST. As in Canada that is a 30 dollar gap in local currency, and again Apple publishes no monthly or financing figure for AirPods in Australia.
Because the Australian numbers include GST and the American ones are quoted before sales tax, the real gap between the two markets is smaller than a straight conversion suggests. Australia is in the first wave for AirPods 5, with pre-orders from September 9 and stock on September 18.

The structure is identical in all three markets: two models, one difference between them, one launch date. The only variable is how much Apple charges for the wireless case, and in Canada and Australia that step is proportionally larger than the American $20.
What the C$30 or A$30 step buys
Apple’s press release quotes up to 5 hours with noise cancellation on and up to 22 hours with the case. Apple’s tech specs page assigns those two figures to the Wireless Charging Case model and rates the standard model at up to 4 hours and up to 20 hours, so the more expensive model buys battery life as well as a better case.

Hands-free Siri AI, head gestures and Live Translation need iOS 27 and an Apple Intelligence iPhone.
